As an educational consultant and seasoned trainer, my journey in the field of education spans 38 years. Armed with a B.Ed in Linguistics and a degree in Montessori and Early Years Foundation studies, I have dedicated my career to teaching and leadership roles in distinguished schools. My expertise extends beyond the traditional classroom setting – I am a seasoned elocution teacher and stage presenter trainer, specializing in honing communication and public speaking skills. The wealth of experience gained in notable schools has not only enriched my professional journey but also fueled my passion for guiding and shaping the future of education. In the captivating domain of early education at Mumtaz International School, I wear two hats: a devoted Kindergarten teacher and the Head of Early Years. With a decade of experience, I immerse myself in the laughter and boundless energy of our young learners, fostering a love for learning through imaginative play and exploration.

As a Kindergarten teacher, I orchestrate days filled with joyous melodies, guiding children through the wonders of their formative years. Simultaneously, as the Head of Early Years, I take pride in curating an environment that celebrates the magic of childhood and ensures each child's holistic development. Together with a passionate team, we are committed to providing a safe and stimulating space, ensuring the early years are marked by moments of wonder, growth, and the foundational elements of a lifelong love for learning.

In the dynamic landscape of Mumtaz International School, I proudly serve as both the Head of Key Stage 1 and 2 and a dedicated Year One teacher. With a decade of experience, my commitment is twofold: steering the overall academic direction for Key Stages 1 and 2 while personally guiding the young minds in Year One. Key Stage 3 and 4 HOD, Secondary Section & Financial Accounting Teacher (2022 - Present)

Since 2022, I have had the privilege of serving as a dedicated Financial Accounting teacher at Mumtaz International School. Recently, in 2024, I was appointed as the Head of Department (HOD) for Key Stages 3 and 4, a role that allows me to further contribute to the academic growth of our students and the overall success of the department. In this dual capacity, I am responsible for leading the Financial Accounting curriculum, ensuring that it remains rigorous, relevant, and aligned with the latest educational standards. I also actively engage students in mastering the complexities of the subject, employing innovative teaching methods to make the learning process both comprehensive and accessible.

My commitment as an educator extends beyond the classroom walls. I am dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of Financial Accounting and encouraging students to develop critical thinking skills, curiosity, and a lasting enthusiasm for the subject. By creating an engaging and supportive academic environment, I aim to inspire students to not only excel in their studies but also to develop a lifelong appreciation for Financial Accounting, empowering them to apply these essential skills in their future academic and professional endeavours.

Homemakers Club Instructor and Year 2 teacher 2018-present

Since 2018, I have had the privilege of serving as the Homemaker Club Instructor and Year Two Teacher at Mumtaz International School. This dual role has allowed me to combine my passion for education with my enthusiasm for homemaking and cookery. Guiding Year 2 students through their foundational educational journey and leading the Homemaker Club, I am committed to fostering an environment where academic growth and practical life skills go hand in hand.

In the classroom, my goal is to cultivate a love for learning, helping students build a strong academic foundation while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking. As the Homemaker Club Instructor, I have the unique opportunity to instill in students the art and science of homemaking, teaching essential skills such as cooking, budgeting, and household management. My mission is to develop confident, self-sufficient individuals who appreciate the value of these skills in everyday life.

As a passionate entrepreneur, I integrate the principles of entrepreneurship into my teaching, especially within the Homemaker Club. I encourage students to explore innovative ideas, understand the basics of managing a small enterprise, and develop a mindset geared toward creativity and problem-solving. By merging these entrepreneurial concepts with practical homemaking skills, I aim to inspire students to become versatile, resourceful individuals who are well-prepared for future challenges.

It is an honour to contribute to the holistic development of my students, nurturing not only their academic achievements but also the invaluable skills of self-reliance, creativity, and entrepreneurship. My objective is to empower these young minds to become lifelong learners and confident individuals capable of thriving in all aspects of life.

Serving as the Front Desk Admin and Girls Hostel Matron at Mumtaz International School since 2020, my role extends beyond administrative duties to include fostering a supportive and welcoming environment for our students. As the face of the school, I ensure a smooth and organized front desk operation while simultaneously overseeing the well-being and comfort of the girls in the hostel. This dual responsibility allows me to play a pivotal role in creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere that contributes to the overall well-rounded experience for our students.

As the Head of Key Stage 3 and 4 Science at Mumtaz International School and serving as a dedicated Chemistry teacher since 2019, I am deeply invested in shaping the educational journey of our students. With a passion for science and a commitment to fostering academic excellence, my role is multifaceted – overseeing the comprehensive direction of science education for Key Stages 3 and 4 while actively engaging students in the intricate world of chemistry.

My tenure as a Chemistry teacher since 2019 has been marked by a dedication to instilling a profound understanding of the subject. Beyond the curriculum, I strive to ignite curiosity, critical thinking, and a genuine appreciation for the wonders of chemistry.
